Popular romantic drama Yeh Hai Mohabbatein is all set to return to the small screen today, April 9. Backed by Ektaa Kapoor and starring Karan Patel and Divyanka Tripathi as the beloved duo Raman and Ishita, the show originally premiered in 2013 and quickly became a fan favourite. Audiences lauded the lead pair’s sizzling chemistry, making the show one of Indian television’s biggest hits. Responding to continued fan demand, the makers have now announced its much-awaited comeback.
Taking to Instagram, Star Plus dropped a promo of the show and wrote in the caption, “Ishita ki Maa banne ki tamanna adhoori hai, wahi dusri ore Roohi ke liye Maa dhoond raha hai Raman. Aakhir kya ye do adhoori daastan mohabbat se muqqamal ho paayegi? Phir ek baar dekhiye ye pyaari daastaan, #YehHaiMohabbatein, iss Budhvaar se, subah 8 baje, StarPlus aur kabhi bhi JioHotstar par.”
The newly released promo offers a nostalgic glimpse into the world of Ishita and Raman, portrayed by Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel. Ishita’s mother is seen searching for a suitable match for her daughter, but Ishita hesitates to marry, burdened by the belief that she cannot embrace motherhood. Meanwhile, Raman’s family urges him to remarry—but his only condition is that his future wife should be a loving mother to his daughter, Ruhi. Despite being neighbours and complete opposites, Ishita and Raman’s paths begin to intertwine, thanks to little Ruhi’s deep bond with Ishita, setting the stage for an emotional journey ahead.
Yeh Hai Mohabbatein will premiere on Star Plus on April 9 at 8 AM. Also, viewers can watch the episodes digitally on the OTT platform JioHotstar.

Talking about Divyanka, the actress was last seen in the web series The Magic of Shiri along with Namit Daas and Jaaved Jaaferi, while Karan last appeared in the film Darran Chhoo, which was released in 2023.
