Salman Khan shot for a dance song in ‘Sikandar’ a day after breaking his ribs: ‘Couldn’t sit, stand, cough or laugh’ | Hindi Movie News – The Times of India

Salman Khan had injured himself and broken two ribs when he was shooting for ‘Sikandar‘. Despite that, the actor has continued to shoot and director AR Murugadoss wasn’t easy on him. He said during the trailer launch of the film that Murugadoss made him do 14-hour shift despite the injury. “When the going gets tough, the tough get going,” said Salman.
Meanwhile, now a video featuring Aamir Khan and Salman Khan has been dropped. It’s Ghajini Vs Sikandar. For those not in the know, Murugadoss had directed Aamir starrer ‘Ghajini’. As the director got into a chat with the two Khans, Aamir asked him questions like, “Who is better dancer? Me or Salman?”, “Who is better at action? Me or Salman?”
When asked who is a better dancer, Salman said it should be me because I danced after injuring my ribs. Murugadoss remained silent and didn’t answer as he was confused. However, Salman quipped, “It should be me; I danced despite my injuries.” The film-maker looked at Aamir and said, “He broke his ribs.”
Salman added further, “There are four songs in the film. In one of the songs, I broke my ribs, and shot for it the next day. I couldn’t sit, stand, cough or even laugh. In one of the steps, I am holding my ribs, we made that as a step. All the dancers then followed the same step.”
Meanwhile, as they spoke about who’s the better actor, Aamir said it would be Salman as he’s very good with emotional scenes.
‘Sikandar’ is set to release on Eid, March 30 in cinema halls.
