She believes in adjusting her skincare routine based on her skin’s needs, whether it’s puffiness, or tan. From using homemade banana masks to nourish her skin and hair to using natural ingredients like tomato juice or potato juice to help reduce tan and even out skin tone, here’s a glimpse at Rakul Preet Singh‘s simple yet effective beauty secrets:
Rakul Preet said, “My skincare routine is very simple. First thing in the morning, I wash my face with cold water, then cleansing, toning, and moisturising. This is all I do every day. Before a shoot, if I feel my face is puffy, I dunk my face in ice water. For de-tanning, I use tomato juice or potato juice on my face by dipping these in cotton. When I feel my skin is dry, I go for banana mask, it is really good. You just have to mix together malai (fresh cream), banana, honey and lemon juice and apply.”
As for her hair, the actor said: “For my hair, I make a pack of avocados and bananas, and sometimes add eggs. More than hair masks, I am regular with facemasks. More than all this, what you eat, think and do reflects on your skin.”
