Neha Kakkar faced backlash after she was reportedly three hours late for her concert in Melbourne, leading to audience frustration and booing. After the video of the incident went viral, Neha took to Instagram to explain her side of the story, alleging that the organisers failed to provide accommodations for her and her team, did not pay vendors, and ultimately abandoned the event.
However, in a social media statement, the organisers have denied her allegations and promised to present proof. “We will be back with all the proof and details of what happened with the Neha Kakkar show. We will expose everybody,” they wrote on Instagram.
Later, they shared a list of expenses, revealing that they had incurred losses of $529,000. They also provided a detailed breakdown of their expenditures and released a video showing Neha being escorted in the cars they had arranged for her, contradicting her claims.
‘We are in big debt after the show’
In a Facebook live session on March 28, a representative from the event management company described Neha’s concert as a “disaster,” contradicting her claims that the organisers failed in their duties. They insisted that all necessary arrangements were made, including multiple luxury cars for her transportation and five-star hotel bookings.
“We suffered a huge loss due to this event. Unlike what she claimed, we made every arrangement. She should be the one paying us compensation. It was a mistake having her on board,” the representative said.

Neha Kakkar’s concert became a talking point earlier this week after a video surfaced showing her crying on stage and apologizing to the audience. Some attendees shouted ‘go back’ as she addressed the crowd.
“You have been really sweet and patient. I hate it. I have never made anyone wait in my life,” Neha said in the viral clip. She later claimed she performed for free and that her team was denied food, water, and accommodations.

Defending herself, Neha alleged that the organisers abandoned their responsibilities, left payments pending, and failed to communicate with her management team.
