‘Jaat’ star Sunny Deol dances with BSF Jawans on his iconic song ‘Main Nikla Gaddi Leke’ from ‘Gadar’ – Watch VIDEO – The Times of India

Sunny Deol’s much-awaited film ‘Jaat’ hit the cinemas today, but before the action unfolded on the big screen, the Bollywood star made a visit to Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. On 9 April, just a day before the film’s release, the ‘Border’ actor visited the famous Tanot Mata temple and met with Border Security Force (BSF) jawans stationed near the India-Pakistan border.
The visit, filled with spiritual devotion and patriotic emotion, became a memorable start to the film’s release. A video from the visit has gone viral, showing the actor singing, dancing, and celebrating with the soldiers in true Sunny Deol style.
Dancing to ‘Main Nikla Gaddi Leke’ with the BSF
One of the most heartwarming moments from the ‘Damini’ actors’ visit was when a BSF jawan sang the iconic song ‘Main Nikla Gaddi Leke’ from Sunny’s legendary film ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’. The moment lit up with energy as Sunny joined in, smiling and dancing with full enthusiasm to the famous hook step that fans across generations still remember.
The ‘Apne’ actor took to the stage with the jawans, clapping and thanking them for their service and warmth. His interaction with the soldiers quickly won hearts on social media, showing once again why he’s not just a star on-screen, but a real hero off-screen too.

A spiritual visit to Tanot Mata temple
Before spending time with the jawans, Sunny made a spiritual stop at the revered Tanot Mata temple, located near the Indo-Pak border. Known for its powerful history and the miracle of unexploded bombs during the 1965 war, the temple is a symbol of protection, faith, and national pride.
Riding the Wave After ‘Gadar 2
‘Jaat’ is Sunny’s first release since the smashing success of ‘Gadar 2’ in 2023. The film became a phenomenon, pulling massive crowds to theatres and breaking box office records. Fans came in tractors, buses, and even trucks, turning screenings into mini festivals. ‘Gadar 2’ brought back the beloved character of Tara Singh and reminded everyone of Sunny’s unmatched power in emotional action films.
About ‘Jaat’
Directed by Gopichand Malineni, ‘Jaat’ released on 10 April and is being described as a full-blown entertainer on social media. The film features everything fans love—high-energy action, intense drama, and strong emotions. Sunnyl leads an impressive cast that includes Randeep Hooda, Vineet Kumar Singh, Saiyami Kher, and Regina Cassandra.
Sunny set for ‘Border 2’
Following the release of ‘Jaat’, Sunny has a packed schedule. He will be playing Lord Hanuman in Nitesh Tiwari’s ambitious upcoming film ‘Ramayana’, where he will star alongside Ranbir Kapoor, who plays Lord Ram. The mythological epic is already generating massive buzz. He’s also set to appear in ‘Lahore 1947’, a historical drama produced by Aamir Khan’s banner.
