Who was Siddharth Yadav?
Siddharth Yadav came from a long line of military service. He was the fourth generation in his family to serve the nation. His great-grandfather had worked in the Bengal Engineers during British rule, his grandfather served in the paramilitary forces, and his father was also a member of the Indian Air Force.
Yadav had passed the NDA exam in 2016 and completed three years of training before becoming a fighter pilot. He was promoted to flight lieutenant two years after joining the IAF. He is survived by his father, mother, and a younger sister.
